Cambell transfer looking in doubt for Hull

The longer the Cambell transfer deal drags on the the more anxious Tigers fans will become. It is reported the united striker has been offered a record 4 year deal by Hull worth 45 000 pounds a week. While Fraizer is on international duty in sweden with the england u21's, he will have a chance to showcase his talent in a search for an improved offer. Cambell was on loan at the Tigers and played a major part in Hull citys promotion to the top flight. Having spent last season on loan at Tottenham, the front man failed to make an impact. Some might say 6 million pounds is a large fee to pay especially for an unproven premier league player.

Hull City target Nolan

Hull city boss Phil Brown is keen to bolster his midfield options and has turned his attention once again to toon midfielder Kevin Nolan. The player is keen for a qiuck fire return to the premier league after a dissapointing season which saw Newcastle relegated. Nolan left Bolton for 4 milllion pounds in January and Brown who worked with the midfielder during his time at Bolton, is eager to sign the player having offered 2.5 million pounds. The significance of bringing in some quality to the Tigers midfield has been all the more important after Hulls record signing Bullard will be expected to miss the first 3 months of the season.

This would be a much needed addition to Browns squad who is carrying far to many players who are well out of there depth in the premier league. The tigers endured a torrid last half of the premiership season which nearly saw themselves relegated.

Hull chasing there Fortune

hull city are one of a host of Premiership clubs circling for Nancy striker Marc-Antoine Fortune.

According to reports Hull City are the latest Premier League Club to be chasing the servives of the Nancy Striker who spent the last half of the season on loan at West Brom. The form Fortune showed at the back end of the season is much to thank for the attention the front man is now recieving. The clubs all chasing his signature for next season include: Wolves, Fulham, Birmingham, Celtic and Hull. Nancy have slapped a 3million pound price tag on the striker, after interest in him has rised. Hull are reported to have offered the highest bid of 2.5 million pound. Although he is not the signing to blow the supporters socks off he will however be a good investment if he shows the form he did for the Baggies during their relegation battle.

Hull are yet to hold talks directly with the Frenchman despite placing the highest bid. Negotiations should develop over the coming days. Stay tuned.

Phil Brown is back in the hunt for Panucci who was a January tansfer target for the Tigers. He has proved to be a quality defender over the years for the Italian side Roma but at 36 cannot be considered a future investment for the Phil Brown, after Tigers scraping through by the skin of their teeth in their first year in top flight football.

Tigers fans would be hoping to see someone with more proven premier league pedigree. Panucci at the ripe old age of 36 has had a turbulent end to his Roma career. With his contract with Roma now expired Hull City can now move in and collect the former World Cup winner on a free transfer. Althought Panucci would be a good aquisition to the squad, the Tigers defence is not the most important area Phil Brown needs to concentrate his attention. Hull is still lacking two or three potent strikers, speed on the flanks and a creative central midfield player!

As a Tigers fan, Panucci would not be the worst addition but its time we think big, reach into our pocket and bring some quality to the squad before we find ourselves in another relegation battle!
